Research data management refers to the process of managing research data during their life cycle.

For efficient research data management, it is advisable to consider the technical and legal requirements at the beginning of the research project. The ZHB would like to support you right from the start in finding your way through this complex matter of research, IT and law.

Research data are (digital) data that are generated during a research process. The type of data includes, for example, text, audio and image files, as well as surveys, statistics and measurement results.

Good research data management requires good planning. We are happy to support you in creating your data management plan (DMP).
