How to order

Media can be ordered in our main catalogue swisscovery RZS or on the national swisscovery platform.

  • Local pick-up locations: free of charge.
  • SLSP courier: CHF 6 per item.
  • Home delivery: CHF 12 (A Mail) per item.

Notifications

As soon as reserved items are ready for pickup, you will receive a notification by E-mail.

You have one week time to pick up items from the selected library. Items not collected will be returned or passed on to the next person interested.

Self-service hold shelf

At all ZHB libraries – with the exception of the ZHB Sempacherstrasse – ordered media are ready for pick-up from the self-service hold shelf for one week. Items are filed alphabetically according to the first three or four letters of the user's surname. They must then be borrowed, either from the self-checkout machines or from the information desk.

Pick up at the information desk

At the ZHB Sempacherstrasse, ordered media are issued on presentation of the library card at the information desk.

In the Uni/PH Building, collect your interlibrary loans or media from the SLSP courier (subject to a charge), at the information desk.
