Literature Search on Site

In all our libraries you have the possibility for literature search in swisscovery RZS on site. However, the search stations provided for this purpose do not offer the option of using e-media directly. We therefore ask you to use one of the following options.

If you log into the  local WLAN at one of our libraries with your personal device (smartphone, tablet, notebook), you will receive access to our licenced e-media. This may vary depending on location and university. You can find a detailed overview of the various offers under Using E-Resources.

We offer ZHB notebooks for day use in the library at all our sites. These not only offer the possibility of searching in swisscovery RZS, but also allow access to our licenced e-media. Further information can be found under Borrowing notebooks.

In the library on Sempacherstrasse we offer self-service tablets (Hublets) that can be borrowed in the lounge. These provide free on-site access to our electronic services (E-Books, E-Newspapers, films, etc.).

Only a valid library card is required for borrowing. The devices are available for use in the library, but not for home borrowing. We demonstrate how to use the Hublets in a  video.
